Sonia is handpoke tattoo artist who works mostly in delicate dotwork style using grainy textures, gradients and... thousands of tiny dots. She’s patient. The handpoke technique means no machine and no electricity, just poking ink with needle. It requires more time, but is less painful.
Sonia is mainly inspired by nature - flowers, plants, cosmic elements and landscapes, probably because she’s just crazy about traveling. Ask her about hitchhiking around Europe, sleeping under stars in Caucasus mountains, drinking yerba mate in Latin America or hospitals in Asia, she will talk for hours. After few years of moving from one part of the world to the other, she has finally decided to stay in Brighton - and she loves it (mostly because of the sea and vegan food).
